Board of Directors Meeting
October 23, 2015
Meeting was called to order at 1:39 p.m.
Present: Bowen Depke, President; Laura Young, 1st VP; Don Zillman, 2nd VP; Loretta Rowe, Ex. Sec.; Mike Fortunato, Sgt-at-arms; Julie L’Heureux, Dir. and Elise Hodgkin, Admin. Coordinator
Absent: Jan Chapman, Dir.; Bruce Moore, Dir.; Scott Blakeslee, Treas.; Mac Collins, Dir.; and IPP Kris Rosado
QUORUM was established with 6 board members present and 3 proxies received.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The minutes of the September 18, 2015 Board meeting were approved as submitted.
FINANCIAL REPORT
The financial reports were reviewed by President Bowen in Club Treasurer’s absence.
BUSINESS:
• New Membership Applications - Lili Brown - moved and approved.
• Resignations - Esther Hickman - moved to accept with regret.
Laura Pawlendzio - moved to accept with regret.
• Leaves of Absence - None received.
• Vision II Workshop - Laura Young/Don Zillman - Workshop to take place on Nov. 5th, 5-9 p.m. at the Clarion Hotel - 26 confirmed attendees.
• Club Protection Officer - is an official board member. New 3-year term officer will be nominated on by the nominating committee this year.
ADJOURNMENT AND NEXT BOARD MEETING SCHEDULE
Meeting was adjourned at 2:02 p.m. The next regular Board meeting will be held on November 20, 2015 at 1:35 p.m.
