The Rotary Club of Portland has a rich tradition of supporting charitable organizations and activities in the Greater Portland Area. The Rotary Club of Portland welcomes applications for grants designed to improve the quality of life of Portland residents. We are particularly drawn to contributing to organizations that create programs in support of veterans, new Mainers, the elimination of childhood hunger, increasing literacy, supporting victims of substance abuse, and educating and challenging young leaders.

 

Further, a keystone of Rotary Clubs throughout the world is the elimination of polio and other communicable diseases. The Club does not make grants in support of political purposes, nor does it support organizations that are not recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a charitable organization.
