
Rotary Bicycle RALLY A uniquely fun and family-friendly clues based bicycle trek! Sunday Oct. 4, 2009 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
So. Maine Community College and surrounding area.
Presented by the Portland and South Portland/Cape Elizabeth Rotary Clubs
To benefit the Rotary Charitable Funds
- The Rotary Bicycle Rally is a simple community ride that begins with a clue to be solved.
- Once solved, participants will cycle to the first of several designated checkpoints.
- At each checkpoint a frivolous task will be performed, like navigating an obstacle course,
an egg on a spoon race, etc...
- The first person, or team, to get to the finish with evidence they've been to each checkpoint
will be eligible to win a prize!
- All participants will enjoy a seaside barbecue and have a chance to win prizes.
Three Routes are available: A: walking or bicycling one mile B: bicycling 5 miles C: bicycling 12 miles
Fees include event T-shirt and barbecue feast $15 Adult $10 Under 16 $40 Family (max 2 adults and 2 children) All children 16 and under will receive an award.
